DIY Crop Top - First try!

Hello again!

Recently my lovely granny decided to buy me a sewing machine as I asked for one for Christmas but Father Christmas didn't bring me one. She bought me a lovely vintage one that is really easy to use (despite the facts it's not electric). So today, as my first project,  I bought a cheap t-shirt (from Matalan boys section, shhh) and decided to turn it in to a crop top. All I did was trim the bottom of the t-shirt, fold the hem underneath, iron over it, and sew it in place. Oh and I also turned up the sleeves and sewed them as well. Unfortunately, as it was my first time, I cut it a bit too short so if you wore it you'd be flashing a bit of boob when you lift your arms up (and no one wants that). It doesn't look that short on the mannequin, but I tried it on and it looked ridonkulous. So I'll have to try again some other time!  My sewing was pretty good though..
