Valentines Outift Ideas ♥

Hello my lovelies!

As valentines day is looming, I thought I would do post for possible outfit ideas you could wear for different kinds of valentines 'dates'. As my boyfriend is at uni this year, I shall be spending my valentines in the company of one of my friends, most likely getting drunk and eating ice cream. However, if you're not like me and have plans, why not have a read and see what you think! I have styled three main piece that most people should have in their wardrobe, a skirt, jeans and a dress. See what tickles your fancy!

FLIRTY AND SKIRTY
So this is my more day time outfit. At the moment, I love shirts and jumpers as I find they are so easy to chuck on but still look elegant with a skirt. As well as this, I thought I'd add a looovely oversized coat in a speckled grey. This adds texture to the outfit as well as keeping you warm. Of course, because it's still pretty cold at the moment, I would put tights with this outfit (but the tights didnt look very good just slapped on the page). To add another texture, I also added this lovely tartan scarf in blues and greens as I thought it would look lovely on top of the grey coat. As there are so many layers, I thought I'd keep jewellery to a minimum and keep it simple with a lovely leather strapped watch. Finally, as this is more casual, I went with a lovely a pair of studded for shoes and a chunky handbag to carry everything in.

SWEET AND SMART
For this look, I have paired a colour block blouse with a pair of high waisted black jeans to make it feel a little bit more 'dressed up'. Personally I would tuck the shirt in to the jeans but you could also wear it untucked. I found that adding the boyfriend blazer really smartens the outfit up as well as adding a layer for warmth. As I was keeping to a more neutral pallet, I kept the lipstick a nude colour as well as keeping the jewellery neutral in colour. And finally, as this look is a bit smarter than the first look, I thought I would add a lovely pair of chunky heels that look amazing but are still comfy.

 BEAUTIFUL IN BURGUNDY

I absolutely looooooove midi dresses/skirts at the moment so I loved creating this look. I went for a simple black long sleeved bodycon midi dress so I could play around with colour and accesories! I went for burgundy red accesories as it's my favourite colour and I think it looks gorgeous with black. The shoes may be back breakers, but the slimming effect of the dress plus the hight that these heels would give, would enhance every figure, making them look even more gorgeous! I was going to go for gold jewellery but when I saw this necklace, it had to be silver! As the necklace is quite chunky, I went for understated square pyramid earrings.

So, what's your favourite outfit? :)
I hope you have all enjoyed this post. Oh and have a lovely valnetines day, whatever you do!
